Odyssey Camp

We invite your 8th and 9th graders to join us for Odyssey Camp, where we'll immerse ourselves in the outdoors and reconnect with ourselves and with our peers. Leadership and positive social interactions have to be practiced and thoughtful in order to really become a part of one’s life. That’s what we’re looking to do.

Parents from last summer's 8th/9th grade Camp report that the friendships their kids developed were paramount to building the confidence needed to enter into high school. We love hearing that the group chats and hang outs which spurred from camp are still going strong!

Although we will be utilizing some of the locations of our Adventure and Journey Camps, this camp will be different as it’s socially meant for teenagers, not preteens. We’ll have some tougher discussions to really connect and provide a mentor for those newfound years. We’re only registering for 12 kids per camp (for 2 weeks) so make sure to register early.

Our Journey campers will explore the far reaches of the Snoqualmie Valley and the Cascade Range via shuttle, bike, and on foot. Campers will bring home stories of secret waterfalls, new friendships, and gems from the Earth! We'll practice decision making in the outdoors, learn how to weigh risk versus reward, and gain an appreciation for the destination AND the effort it takes to get there.

With support from Compass Adventure Guides, campers will tackle challenges and team building activities that are specifically designed to deepen their confidence, connections, creativity, critical thinking, collaboration, communication, grit, and determination.
