NOW HIRING COOL PEOPLE

We have been getting kids outdoors, active, and engaged in the Snoqualmie Valley since 2007. At Compass we believe the team is our secret sauce through effective teamwork and open communication.  We

We are looking for summer rock stars (Summer Camp Guides to be exact)  to guide our weekly kids' summer camp programs. This isn't just about babysitting; it’s about creating custom, engaging and playful experiences. If you are ready to get dirty, learn new skills, and share the "stoke" with the next generation of adventurers, this is the gig for you.

SUMMER CAMP GUIDES

The Mission

As A Summer Camp Guide, you will lead groups of campers through our Explorer (2nd-3rd), Adventure (4th-5th), Journey (6th-7th), and Odyssey (8th-9th)  programs, ensuring they are safe, engaged, and having the best summer of their lives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Adventure Connection: Inspire curiosity and foster a lifelong connection to the outdoors by actively guiding campers through exploration and adventure activities.

  • Guiding & Engagement: Lead a group of campers safely in activities including hiking, biking, and exploring. Actively engage with campers using positive encouragement—no passive supervision.

  • Preparation & Readiness: Proactively use provided checklists (gear, vehicle, daily itinerary) to ensure complete preparation and readiness before and after all camp activities.

  • Safety & Standards: Know and enforce all safety guidelines. You must "talk straight" and "confront reality" if safety issues arise, as part of our culture of trust. Always know the whereabouts of your campers.

  • Fleet & Gear:

    • Keep adventure preparation areas clean and tidy.

    • Assist in maintaining the vehicle fleet and equipment. Ensure vehicles are clean and gear is ready for the next adventure.

    • Report equipment repairs immediately using the QR codes located in vehicles and the facility.

  • Logistics:

    • Record hours live and clock in/out

    • Attend all team meetings and training opportunities.
